Ya'a'teeh! Welcome to Teesto Chapter Home Page!

Navajo Name: Naa nideetiin (Road Across The Wash)

Teesto Chapter became a certified chapter on November 10,
1955. Before this, the people had built their own meeting
hall, with Public Work Funds. Approximately 40% of the
original chapter land base has been partitioned as "Hopi
lands".

The Teesto Chapter conducts meetings monthly to keep
residents informed; residents have a forum to express their
opinions to their Navajo Nation Council Delegate or to
decide on matters concerning their chapter.

Upcoming Chapter Meetings and Social Events:
"Serving the Governmental Needs of the Teesto Chapter
Residents."
